Somewhere
between the white radiance of eternity
And the washed-out hues of earth-bound existence
We meet
Between the outstretched tent of heaven’s firmament
And the tattered fabric of windless souls
Between the everlasting horizons of limitless dominion
And the fog of tomorrow’s hourly uncertainties
Somewhere between the living blood at the base of Mercy’s seat
And the tainted flow moving through weakening veins
We meet
Somewhere between the purposeful mind of an unfathomable plan
And the searching, longing looks of heavenward faces
Between the fires of brazen feet and burning eyes
And the locked cold heart of loneliness
We meet
We meet at some place between
The ultimate dream and a desperate hope,
Eternal bliss and human suffering,
Divine pain and fading pleasures,
Incomparable promises and barren hands
Somewhere between Heaven’s only Son
And the clay feet of every mortal man
We meet
And there you consume us in our brokenness
Yet we leave that place completely whole.

Nice imagery. Profound message. Good job.
You bless me,
